Physics Concepts
Momentum: How hard it is to stop something that is moving. For example, a ping pong ball doesn't take much force to get moving, but a truck is a lot harder to move. We used this in our project when we calculated the momentum of the ball before and after the skip.
Impulse: How hard it is to get something moving. This goes hand-in-hand with momentum, because these two are always equal. Again, a ping pong ball is really easy to stop, but a truck isn't going to be stopped very easily. We used this in our project when we found the impulse before and after the skip.
Vectors: There are two components of vectors, horizontal and vertical motion. Using the distances for both the horizontal and vertical elements, you can find the actual direction the object is going. The pictures below show how the horizontal force and the vertical force can be used to find what is called the total force, which also has the direction. You could also use this the other way around and break down a directional force into its horizontal and vertical components, which lets you get specific angles for the total force.

Reflection
I think the end product of this project turned out well, but I feel like the process that we went through to get there could have been better. At the very beginning of the project, we had some disagreement on what sport we would be doing, as one member of our group wanted something different than the other three, which created discord for everyone throughout the course of the project. I can fix this by making sure that everyone is on board with all of the decisions that we have to make as a group. However, we were able to successfully and effectively make a storyboard for our video as a group and a team. On a more personal level, I feel like the biggest thing I could've done better was making sure that I was always on task. While this was partly due to the fact that this project isn't as cooperation friendly (seeing as video editing isn't really a team event), I'm not going to say that my lack of a consistent, strong work ethic didn't play a part as well. More positively, I feel like my ability to actually make a connection with the people in my group has significantly increased since our first project. I feel like this is as to be expected, as in my first project, I did a lot more focusing than making connections, and now I did more connecting than focusing solely on the work to be done, I feel like now I should be able to now better both connect with my team, and be able to do good work, and I should improve through the rest of the year. Overall, I think my collaboration is definitely improving!
